I recommend reaching out during your second trimester. Because I only take a limited number of sessions each month to ensure the highest quality for my Raleigh families, my calendar often fills up 2–3 months in advance.

What is an in-home lifestyle newborn session?

A lifestyle session focuses on the natural connection between you and your new baby in the comfort of your own home. We’ll capture unposed moments in your nursery, master bedroom, and living area. I also include a solo portion for the baby using professional props and backdrops.

Do you provide newborn props and wraps?

Yes! I provide a curated collection of high-end knits, wraps, and props. We will choose 2 colors and 2 props that best fit your home’s aesthetic during our prep call.

Can older siblings and pets be included in newborn photos?

Absolutely! Siblings and pets are a huge part of the story. Since I come to your home in Raleigh or Wake Forest, it’s much easier for siblings to participate in a familiar, low-stress environment.

How much does a newborn photography session in Raleigh cost?

The total investment for a session with Mess of a Dreamer is $500. This includes travel to your home, use of all props, and 25 professionally hand-edited digital images.
