Sunflower Field Maternity Session at the NC Museum of Art | Raleigh Maternity & Newborn Photographer

There’s something extra special about working with returning clients—watching their families grow and being invited back to capture each new chapter. As a Raleigh maternity and newborn photographer, I’m always honored when families choose me again to preserve their most meaningful moments.

This maternity session took place at the always-inspiring North Carolina Museum of Art in Raleigh, one of my favorite locations for its mix of modern art, natural beauty, and seasonal floral backdrops. On this particular evening, the skies threatened rain, but the storm clouds graciously held off—leaving us with soft light, cool air, and an unforgettable evening in the blooming sunflower field.

Mom looked absolutely radiant as she cradled her growing belly, styled perfectly from my client wardrobe. Dad was right by her side, and big brother was full of energy and excitement—ready to take on his new role and steal the show with his big smiles. We captured a sweet blend of posed portraits and candid family moments that truly reflected the joy and connection between them.

Sessions like this are why I love what I do—documenting real, beautiful moments that families will treasure forever.

If you're expecting and looking for a maternity and newborn photographer in Raleigh, I’d love to chat! Whether you prefer a garden backdrop, studio session, or in-home lifestyle images, we’ll create a stress-free experience that celebrates your story.
